Pauline Simpson, age 61, of Portland, passed away April 4, 2006, at her residence. Born in Davidson County on June 22, 1944, to the late Jewel and Addie Mae Jacobs. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist Church for over thirty years. She is survived by her husband, Charles Simpson of Portland; daughters, Connie Moyher of Portland, Sandra Simpson of Portland; sons, David Simpson of Portland, Thomas Simpson of Portland; 9 grandchildren, Heather, Coty and Shea Simpson, Daniel and Bobbi Jo Harper, Amanda and Emily Simpson, Michael and Dustin Montoya; sister, Barbara Kersletter of Nashville. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers, Paul, James, and Ray Jacobs; sisters, Gladys Rowland, Betty Basham, and Mary Cole. Visitation will be 5 p.m., until 9 p.m., Wednesday, April 5, 2006, and 10 a.m., until 9 p.m., Thursday, April 7, 2006, and 9 a.m., until funeral time, Friday, April 7, 2006. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Friday, April 7, 2006, at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Pierce and Bro. R.H. McCuin officiating. Interment will be at Sherron Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Harper, Coty Simpson, Michael Montoya, Dustin Montoya, Shea Simpson, Bobby Edward Simpson, Terry Andrews, Eddie Steels, Ronnie Leek.
