Mrs. Emma M. Barnett
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma M. Barnett, 76, of Monticello, were held Wednesday, November 23, at the Hartman-Wilson Chapel. Burial was in the New Hebron Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Sullivan conducted the services. Special music was provided by Bobbie Joe Lambert.
Mrs. Barnett died at Lawrence County Hospital November 21, following a lengthy illness. She was retired from Kellwood Manufacturing Company and was a member of Powells Grove Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Christine B. Lambert of Jayess and Mrs. Catherine Mountain of Monticello; two brothers, Mr. W. J. Womack of Jayess and Mr. Ernest Womack of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wallace of Jayess and Mrs. Mattie Lee Boyd of Jayess; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Jerry Rutland, Plez Wallace, Herman Miller, Emmitt Bullock, Paul Barnett, Buddy King, and John Wyles.
Hartman- Wilson Funeral Home of Monticello was in charge of arrangements.
