Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline (Polly) Griffin Henderson, 91, of Monroe, will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, October 15, 2007, at Parkview Baptist Church with Dr. Whit Holmes and Rev. Terry Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Mrs. Henderson passed away Friday, October 12, 2007, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was retired from Scott Tractor Co. after thirty-eight years of service. She was an active member of Parkview Baptist Church for sixty years where she was in leadership with the children's department, a member of Chancel Choir for sixty years, and choir librarian. Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Lloyd Alvin Henderson; parents, John and Callie Griffin; sisters, Leola Peters, and Joy Phelps; and brothers, Justin Griffin, and Johnny Griffin.

Survivors include her nephews, Billy Peters, Donald Peters, Delwyn Peters, Alvin Griffin, Johnny Griffin, Justin Fogleman, John Fogleman, Michael Griffin, and John Griffin; nieces, Anita Cole, Shirley Swayze, Diane Gregory, Catherine Cashiola, and Donna Sue Natali; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe.

Memorials may be made to Parkview Baptist Church or to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home.
