Funeral services for Christine Oglesby Yarbrough, 72, of Hanceville will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel, Dr. Jeff Steele officiating, with interment in Riverside Cemetery in Hanceville.

Mrs. Yarbrough died Monday, May 18, at Hanceville Nursing Home. She was born Jan. 13, 1937, in Ellis County, Texas, to Everett Hampton and Ada Mae York Oglesby. She was a laborer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a great-grandchild, Chase Yarbrough; four brothers, Calvin Oglesby, Clifford Oglesby, Charles Oglesby and David Oglesby; and a sister, Cythalene Cowert.
Survivors include four children, Gary Yarbrough, Randall Yarbrough, Jeff Yarbrough and Jamie Yarbrough; two brothers, Carleton Oglesby and Clayton Oglesby; a sister, Karolyn Petty; and 13 grandchildren, Randy Yarbrough, Stacy Turner, Teri Tyree, Christi Foster, Jennifer Yarbrough, Kevin Yarbrough, Brooke Yarbrough, Holly Yarbrough, Garrett Yarbrough, Sabrina Yarbrough, Briana Yarbrough, Hilary Bryant and Casey Marcum; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
