Gwynne Russell, 86, died Wednesday, March 15, 1989, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was a former resident of Wellington, leaving here in 1929 to go to Clovis, New Mexico, where she was living at the time of her death.
Ms. Russell was born January 25, 1903, in Ardmore, Indian Territory, the daughter of C.C. Russell and Hattie Gates Russell.
The family came to Collingsworth County while she was at an early age.
She was married to Walter Lee Hunsaker and he died in 1975 in Clovis.
Ms. Russell attended the Dozier School. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Survivors are a sister Seborn Troutman of Harrison, Arkansas, several nieces and nephews; two great nephews and a great niece.
