Elmer E. Adee
Elmer E. Adee, 78, an Oneonia resident since 1937, of 6 High Street, died November 2 in Fox Hospital where he had been a patient for about 18 days. Mr. Adee has been in poor health for several years.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 6, at the Bookhout Funeral Home with Dr. Clude Hardy, pastor of Cooperstown Junction Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Archibald Cemetery, New Kingston.
Mr. Adee was born Feb. 5, 1879 in New Kingston, son of Peter and Sarah (Reynolds) Adee. A retired general worker, he lived in Oneonta since 1937. He married Laura Harrington in 1904.
Surviving are two sons. R. Walter Adee, 11 Wells Ave.; Clifford W. Adee, Maryland RD 1; one daughter, Mrs. Arthur Kaufman, 1722 Fourth St., Rensselaer; one brother, Palmer Adee, Sidney, seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
