Delbert David Brown, 74, died on August 10, 2009 at the Intermountain Medical Center surrounded by family. He resided at 4955 South Wasatch Street (250 East) in Murray, Utah at the time of his death.

Born October 17, 1934 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Ben and Emma Fullmer Brown.

Graduated from Murray High School and served in the U.S. Air Force National Guard. He was employed by Wahlen Brothers Furniture for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time at his mountain cabin.

Survived by his sisters, Barbara (Robert) Wachs, Susan (Jerry) Bashor; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Sammy. Preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Richard (Dick) Brown.

A viewing will be held on Sunday evening, August 16, 2009 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray.
Graveside services will be held in the Murray City Cemetery on Monday, August 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.
