Mrs. Amelia J. Kane, for over 60 years, a resident of Baltimore, died Saturday, of paralysis, at Berkeley Springs, West Virginia, where she spent most of her time for years past. Born in Belair, Maryland, she had just past her 79th birthday. Her father was Dr. Adam Clendenin and her husband, Mr. John Kane, a merchant, both of Baltimore. Her husband John Kane was the elder brother and guardian of the late Mayor George P. Kane, who made his home with his brother's widow during his youth and early manhood. Mrs. Kane was a cultivated woman. She was a member of the Franklin Street Presbyterian Church. The funeral service will be conducted at Berkeley Springs by the Rev. Mr. Campbell and the interment will be at the old Glendy Graveyard, Baltimore, with Rev Murkland officiating.
