LEIGHTON -- The funeral for Mrs. Methyl Etoile Campbell, 83, Route 2, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Harmony Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Strickland officiating. Burial will be in Poplar Creek Cemetery with Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia, directing.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. The body will be placed in the church at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday.
She was a native and lifelong resident of Colbert County, a member of Harmony Freewill Baptist Church and the widow of Will B. Campbell.
Survivors include her son, Joe Campbell, Leighton; daughters, Doris Lane, Russellville, Beatrice Corsby, Leighton; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Bearers will be Lynn Lane, Brian Campbell, Brad Campbell, Wayne Andrews, Randy Butler, Barry Campbell.
