Lee Roy Wilson, 71, died yesterday afternoon in the Radford Community Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Lawson Wilson; three sons, David Lee Wilson, Baltimore, MD, Herbert Wilson, Baltimore and Voyce J. Wilson, Snowville; four daughters, Mrs. Rebecca Atkins, Manchester, MD; Mrs. Vonie Simpkins, Manchester; Mrs. Edith Ridpath, Radford arid Mrs. Opal Phillips, Radford; one brother, Lathia Wilson, Snowville; two sisters, Mrs. Ernest Turner, Sciota, IL and Mrs. Blooma Ross, Princeton, WV; 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Simpkinstown Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. E.C. Daniels conducting. Burial will follow in the Wilson Cemetery. The body will remain at Strickler's Funeral Home until one hour before the service.
