Mandy Moree Keeter Watt, 90, widow of Hollis Wesley Watt who passed away March 24, 2003, of 505 McArthur Street, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Monday, March 26, 2012 at Regional Hospice Home.
Born July 7, 1921 in Rutherfordton County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Eli Keeter and Adelia Robbins Keeter. She was the oldest member of Southside Baptist Church, was a former textile employee and a retired lab tech for Hoechst Fibers.
Surviving are a son, Rev. Tommy Joe Watt and wife Ethel of Lithia Springs, GA; daughters, Jean Scruggs Jones of Chesnee, Gail Humphries and husband Bobby of Mayo, 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Hoyt Keeter, sisters, Kathleen Hall and Louise Humphries, four siblings who died at birth and a great-granddaughter, Lauren Scruggs Tompkins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Eggers Funeral Home of Chesnee
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2012 at Eggers Funeral Home chapel with Reverends Tommy Joe Watt and Dale Welch officiating. Burial will follow at Springhill Memorial Gardens.
Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Southside Baptist Church, 609 S. Alabama Ave. Chesnee, SC 29323.
