Burton Highley Harriman, 81 died Friday at Catawba Sanitorium. He is survived by two sons H.G. Harriman, Pulaski, B.H. Harriman, Jr, Denver, CO; and four daughters, Mrs. Trigg Price, Pulaski, Mrs. W.J. Miller, Huntington, WV, Mrs. Edgar Sexton, Shawsville, VA, and Mrs. W.I. Morefield, Hillsville. Also one brother, Walter H. Harriman, of Hillsville. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. from the Aldersgate Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. J.B. Moss assisted by the Rev. Ellwyn Williams. Burial will follow in Dora Furnace cemetery. The body will be removed from the home to the church to lie in state one hour before the services.
