Jacob S. Baxter, aged 65, of 45 Westmont Circle, a retired truck driver, died Saturday. He was a member of the First Baptist Church at Arkadelphia and Teamsters Union Local 878. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Retha M. VanAllen Baxter; two sons, William S. Baxter with the Army in Germany and Larry Dale Baxter of Little Rock; a daughter, Mrs. Pat Baxter Spinks of Jacksonville; a brother, Tommy Baxter of Little Rock; a sister, Mrs. Doris Kirksey of Memphis, and five grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Drummond Funeral Home.
