Pamela K. Alfrey, 60, Anderson, died Aug. 11, 2009, at Saint John's Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born Feb. 12, 1949, in Anderson, and was a lifelong Anderson resident. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Anderson High School Class of 1968. She loved to crochet, bake and spend time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Monte L. Alfrey of Anderson, whom she married Dec. 27, 1986, in Anderson; four children, Michael D. Hileman of Anderson, Jeffrey A. (Candie A.) Hileman of Anderson, Kimberly L. (Timothy A.) Johnson of Anderson, and Elizabeth J. (Eric J.) Smith of Anderson; sister, Kathy Key of Anderson; eight grandchildren, Vince Hileman, Bret Hileman, Cora Hileman, Monica Hileman, LaDonna Clark, Monte Clark, Dylan Miller and Jakob Smith; and four great-grandchildren, Brendyn Hileman, Amiah Hileman, Lily Hileman and Rylan Parker.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth L. Stoops.
