MRS. ELIZABETH O. STANKE, 56, of 105 Oak Dr., North Syracuse, died yesterday in Syracuse Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Creston, Neb., she moved to North Syracuse about 17 years ago. Mrs. Stanke was a member of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, North Syracuse.
She is survived by her husband, Erich Stanke; two daughters, Miss Gale Stanke at home and Mrs. Joyce De Mark; her father, Fred F. Sauer of Tilden, Neb.; four sisters, Mrs. Elise Bader of Escalon, Calif., Mrs. Charlotte Kriefles of Grand Island, Neb.; Mrs. Marie Calgen of Auburn, Ala., and Mrs. Alvin Crump of Sacramento, Calif.; two brothers, Ronald Sauer of Brewerton and Otto Sauer of Tilden, Neb.; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, the Rev. John B. Sanborn officiating. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sears Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse, 7 to 9 p.m. today and tomorrow.
