Pearl A. Crans , 98, formerly of 6315 Route 31, Clay, died Tuesday at Sunnyside Nursing Home after a long illness.
Mrs. Crans was a native of Currituck, N.C., and lived in the Syracuse area 73 years. Mrs. Crans and her late husband, Bruce, ran a general store in Clay in the 1930s. Her husband died in 1963.
Surviving are a sister, Mary Davis of Hertford, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Sears-Middleton Funeral Home, the Rev. Norman Lake officiating. Burial will be in North Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 209 N. Main St.
