OBITUARY :
ADA VICTORIA SEE MONGOLD, 86, of Mathias died Saturday at Rockingham Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient a month.

Mrs. Mongold was born Dec. 24, 1896, in Hardy County and was a daughter of Wesley and Amanda Strawderman See.

She was a member of Mathias Church of the Brethren.

On Aug. 29, 1915 she married Charles D. Mongold, who survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Daily, Oliver, and George Mongold, all of Mathias, and Raymond of Edinburg; two daughters, Trefa Mullins of New Market and Lefa Gay Pyle of Moorefield; two half sisters, Allie Sager of Lost City and Eunice Dove of Bergton; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and a step-grandchild.

The funeral will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mathias Church of the Brethren by the Revs. C. R. Simmons, Jr., Doc Shank and Mark Bowser. Burial will be in the Mongold family cemetery.

The body is at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway, where the family will receive friends 7-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family said contributions may be made to the Mathias-Baker Rescue Squad.

Preceded in death by a half-brother, Michael Franklin "Frank" See.
