She was born May 14, 1920 to Thomas Edward and Sally Laverney (Golden) Thornton in Gorman.
On Feb. 20, 1937, she married Robert Warren Arms in Comanche.
She worked as a seamstress for 11 years at Dublin Sewing Factory.
She was preceded in death by her husband (on Feb. 9, 1997); six brothers: Everett Guy Thornton, Andrew Thornton, Joe Thornton, Ed Thornton, Frank Thornton and Tommy Thornton; and four sisters: Reva-Lee Land, Blanche Morris, Jimmie Maxwell and Altie Loudermilk.
She is survived by a son, Robert Lee Arms; a daughter, Margie Dee Schrader both of Proctor; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
