Helen Lucille Chambers, 95; of Jeffersonville Funeral services for Helen Lucille Chambers, 95, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Scott Funeral Home's North Chapel, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery.

She died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.

She previously worked at the Indiana Army Ammunition Plant in Charlestown where she resided for 30 years and later retired from Gibson and McGrath Insurance Co.

After retirement, she lived in Clearwater, Fla., for several years before moving back to Jeffersonville in 1996. She regularly attended First Baptist Church in Jeffersonville, enjoyed traveling and was an exceptional seamstress.

Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Estes and her husband, Jack, of Jeffersonville, Judith Zanders and her husband, Paul, of Merrillville, and Beverly Lemons and her husband, Bob, of Columbus, Ga.; a sister, Mary Vandiver and her husband George, Arlington; seven grandchildren, Sheri Sellmer, of Jeffersonville, Angela Smith and her husband, Mark, of New Albany, Marilyn Jones, of DeMotte, Paula Ashford and her husband, Steve, of Merrillville, Jennifer Ansley, of Clayton, Mich., Tammy Swim, of Villa Rica, Ga., and David Rea and his wife, Deborah, of Lexington, S.C.; 10 great grandchildren, Amy Jones, Erica Laffoon, John Sellmer, Courtney Smith, Hampton Rea, Hannah Rea, Amanda Ansley, Matthew Ansley, Diane Ashford and Brian Ashford; and five great-great grandchildren, Madilyn Laffoon, Braden Laffoon, Tyler Ansley, Logan Ansley and Lilah Ansley.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
