Erwin Ray Bogard, 73, of McKinney passed away March 20, 2002, at North Central Medical Center. He was born September 2, 1928 in McKinney to Wesley and Sara (Lockmiller) Bogard. On July 4, 1955, he married Mildred Mozelle Holdbrooks in Durant, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired as an aircraft technician after many years of service. He was a member of the St. John's Masonic Lodge No. 51 in McKinney and was a Baptist in faith.
He is survived by his wife Mozelle Bogard of McKinney; a brother James Bogard of Farmers Branch; three nieces and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at noon, March 22 at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with James Gross and Chaplain Ricky Hargrave officiating. A Masonic graveside service will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation with the family will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. today at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
