PASSING OF A NOBLE WOMANAt her home on Jackson St. at 4 o'clock last Friday afternoon, Mrs. Elizabeth Sugg Banks peacefully passed away after a severe illness of 2 months duration. The daughter of Mr./Mrs. Thomas Sugg in 1860 married Dr. Charles Peters Banks, a talented and popular young physician. Five children survive: Charles H. Banks, Thomas S. Banks, Mrs. W.A. Dearing, Mrs. F.D. Ramsey (Fannie), Mrs. R.I. Walston (of New Decatur); two sisters: Mrs. Bell Bowen, Mrs. Rachel Nance; one brother: J. Ogden Sugg of Texas.
