Medford Mathew Sullenger, 83, of Yuba City, died Saturday in a local hospital following a brief illness. He was a native of Joplin, Missouri and had lived in this area since he was a boy. He was a retired farmer. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Thelia A Dahneke of Sacramento; two sons, George M. Sullenger of North Sacramento and Chester B. Sullenger of Yuba City; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 10 am Wednesday in the Ullrey Memorial Chapel Yuba City with Rev. E. O. Down, pastor of the First Southern Baptist church of North Sacramento officiating. Interment will be in Sutter cemetery.
