NEW ALBANY TRIBUNE OBITUARY – 02/14/1993 - GEORGETOWN
Raymond D. Hopper, 79, of Georgetown died Thursday at his home. He was a native of Mitchell, retired co-owner of Falls City Fence Co. in Louisville and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in New Albany and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. Survivors include his wife, the former Margaret Lee Cunningham; two sons, Don Hopper of Louisville and Sam Hopper of Georgetown; one daughter, Sharon R. Shirley of Georgetown; one brother, Paul Hopper of St. Petersburg, Fla.; one sister, Camille Crandall of Fairdale, Ky.; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Kraft Funeral Home with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today. A prayer service will be held at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may go to the Mass of the Air, St. Mary's Church or the donor's favorite charity.
