Mrs. Alberta Dubourg Biagi, died here Friday [November 15, 1968]. She was the mother of Mrs. Thomas Duffy, Vincent, Hugh & Quinton Biagi, all of Shelbyville, Joseph Biagi, Louisville, and Achille Biagi, Evansville, IN. The body is at Shannon Funeral Home here.

BIAGI - Alberta Dubourg, age 74, widow of A. Biagi, passed away at 4 p.m. Friday, November 15, 1968, Shelbyville, KY. Survived by daughter, Mrs. Thomas Duffy; sons, Vincent, Hugh, Quintin all of Shelbyville, Joseph of Louisville, and Achille of Evansville, IN; 32 grandchildren; sisters, Miss Marguerite Dubourg, Mrs. Leo Schuler, and Mrs. Herbert Freville, all three of Louisville, and Mrs. George Frank of Nashville, TN. Services at 11 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Annunciation, Shelbyville, KY. Interment Grove Hill Cemetery. Rosary 8 p.m. Sunday at the Shannon Funeral Home.

Mrs. Alberta Dubourg Biagi, widow of A. Biagi, the founder of The Biagi Company in Shelbyville, died last Friday afternoon [November 15, 1968]. Apparent cause of death was a heart attack which she suffered at her home on the Smithfield Road. She was 74. Born in Shelbyville, she was the daughter of the late Achille Dubourg and Augusta Kaltenbacher Dubourg. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Thomas Duffy, Smithfield Road, five sons, Vincent, Hugh, Quinton Biagi, all of Shelbyville, Joseph Biagi, Louisville, and Achille Biagi, Evansville, IN. Also 32 grandchildren and four sisters, Miss Marguerite Dubourg, Mrs. Lee Schuler and Mrs. Hubert Freville, all of Louisville; and Mrs. George Frank, Nashville, TN. Services were held Monday morning at the Church of Annunciation in Shelbyville, conducted by Rev. Joseph Lyon. Burial was in Grove Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Thomas Duffy, John Gregory Biagi, Stephen Vincent Biagi, James A. Biagi, Robert Biagi and Lee J. Schuler Jr.

Mrs. Alberta Dubourg Biagi, 74, widow of A. Biagi, prominent Shelbyville resident and founder of Biagi Co., died last Friday [November 15, 1968] at 4 p.m. at her home on the Smithfield Road. Mrs. Biagi was a native of Shelbyville, and a daughter of the late Achille W. Dubourg and Augusta Kaltenbacher Dubourg, members of well-known families. Mrs. Biagi was a devout member of the church of Annunciation. Kind and reserved of manner, she was truly a Christian lady. She was kind and understanding and held the love and admiration of people in all walks of life. She will be missed in her home, her church and throughout the community. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Thomas Duffy, Shelby County; five sons, Achille Biagi, Evansville, IN; Vincent, Hugh, Quinton Biagi, Shelbyville; Joseph Biagi, Louisville, 32 grandchildren; four sisters, Miss Marguerite Dubourg, Mrs. Leo Schuler and Mrs. Hubert Freville, Louisville; and Mrs. George Frank, Nashville, TN. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Monday from the Church of Annunciation by Rev. Father Joseph Lyon. Burial was in Grove Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Messrs. Thomas Duffy III, John Gregory Biagi, Stephen Vincent Biagi, James A. Biagi, Robert Biagi and Leo J. Schuler Jr.
