Mr. Raymond (Ray) Kohler Bills, age 82 of Lewisburg, died at his residence Saturday, August 8, 2009.
Mr. Bills was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee and son of the late Audie and Irene Taylor Bills.
He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during World War Two. He was retired from the Marshall County Highway Department. Mr. Bills formerly served as an Elder in the Hardin Chapel Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Bills and Charlie Bills.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Elaine Looney Bills of Lewisburg, three daughters, Kathie Bills (Fred) Porter of Columbia, Betty Bills (David) Hay of Eagleville, and Emily Bills (Andy) White of Mt. Juliet, son, Edwin (Karen) Bills of Knoxville, four brothers, James (Lillian) Bills and Tom (June) Bills both of Columbia, Joe (Josephine) Bills of Murfreesboro, and Benny (Doris) Bills of Gallatin, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, also survive.
