Obituary - Permilla Rogers Bean, 94, died Wednesday, June 16, 1993 at the Ivy Manor Care Center in Bountiful.

She was born August 4, 1898 in Honeyville, Utah a daughter of George Tenbrook and Permilla Boothe Rogers. She married Joseph Marquis Bean on December 15, 1920 in Salt Lake City. He died December 8, 1973.

She was a member of the LDS Church, having served as stake Relief Society chorister and in the ward Primary presidency. She had lived in Salt Lake and Layton.

Surviving are four sons, J. Richard Bean, Logan; K. Roger Bean, Layton; J. Merrill Bean, Layton; David E. Bean, Kaysville; 24 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister, Horace Rogers, Salt Lake City; and Ethel Forsberg, Garland, Utah. Preceded in death by her husband and one daughter, Dorothy.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 21, 1993 at 11 a.m. Myers Mortuary Chapel, 250 No. Fairfield Road, Layton, with Bishop Danial Croft officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment Kaysville City Cemetery.
