Montgomery County Woman Passes Away Last Wednesday Night
JACKSON, Miss. May 29. Burial services for Mrs. Roxie Jenkins, 54, who died at a local hospital Wednesday night after an illness of several weeks, was held Friday from the McCurtain Creek Baptist church, the Rev. J. M. Smith, officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Jenkins was a resident of Stewart, Montgomery County, and has scores of friends who deeply mourn her passing. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Besides her husband, W. E. Jenkins; two sons, Atley Jenkins and Melvin Jenkins, all of Stewart; three daughters, Mr. Edna Woods, Mrs. Draper Simpson, both of Choctaw county, and Mrs. Lola Jones, Tomnolen, survives.
