chris stanturf added that According to Sonia Glines, Elizabeth is buried in the Mullins Cemetery, Mercer Co., MO. However, per the obituary below that is not the case.

Obituary Elizabeth E. Helton was born February 2, 1840, in Jackson County, Indiana, and died October 1, 1920, aged 80 years, 8 months, and 88 days. At the age of 16 she with her parents, came to Mercer County, Missouri. When about 20 years of age she united with the Freedom Baptist Church and was baptized by Rev. John Woodward, thus serving her Lord more than 60 years.In 1866, she was united in marriage to Alfred A. Thomas.To this union 7 children were born--Sarah A. Savage, of Round Top, Montana; Mary E. Harper, Wert, Minnesota; John M., of Mildred, Colorado; Olivia V. Moss, and Perry of Cainsville, Missouri. George W., and Elizabeth died in infancy.She raised two step-children. Martha Franklin, of North Dakota, and R. M., of Des Moines.She leaves 2 sisters, Mrs. Wm. Harris, of Saline, and Mrs. James Brown, of Mercer, Missouri, and brother, Wm. Helton of Colorado, 25 grand-children, and 10 great-grand-children, and a host of other relatives and friends.Funeral services were held at the late home by Rev. Chas. Hickman, pastor of the Zion Baptist Church, after which interment was made in the Liberty Cemetery.
