She married William Willis on 27 Dec 1849 in Adamsville, Muskingum Co., OH. They had two children:

Grandma Willis died at the home of her son, L. K. Willis, 2 1/2 miles southeast of town last Saturday night. Funeral services were conducted at the house at 3:00 pm on Sunday by Rev. Simmons. After, the remains were interred in Mount Hope cemetery. Grandma was 86 years old and highly respected by everyone and a pensioner from the War of 1812.

DIED:--at the home of her son, L. K. Willis, on May 8, 1897, Mrs. Eliza Willis; aged 87 years. Grandma Willis, whose maiden name was Eliza Moore, was born in Washington, Pa., February 10, 1810. From there she removed with her parents to Muskingum County, Ohio, at which place she was married to William Willis; two sons, W. C. and L. K. Willis were born to this union. With husband and family she removed from that place to Louisa County, Iowa, where her husband died in 1855. From there she came to Kansas, and had been making her home with her son, L. K. Willis up to the time of her death. In early life she became a member of the U. P. church, but after coming to Kansas, there being no Presbyterian church her, she became a member of the Congregationalists, and remained a member until her death." She had suffered from erysipelas for nearly 40 years.
