Dan Shuss, 69, of Dayton, died of a heart attack Saturday afternoon while vacationing at Centerville, Mich. Mr. Shuss, a former Lewisburg business man, had gone to Michigan early Saturday morning with four other Dayton men, and suffered the fatal attack as he was getting ready to go fishing.
He had been an employee of the Chrysler Airtemp Corporation, Dayton, retiring the first of this year. A native of Dayton, he had resided there most of his life, with the exception of five or six years when he lived here.
While a Lewisburg resident, he and his late wife operated Bonnie's Cafe.
Final rites were conducted yesterday afternoon from a Dayton funeral home with burial in Willow View cemetery, Dayton. Funeral services were in charge of the Rev. William Boyer.
Survivors include two sons, Ralph of Lewisburg, and Robert of Kokomo, Ind; three grandchildren, two sisters, both residents of Dayton, one brother in Detroit, Michigan and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Henry J Sewert and B.M. Bunger, both of Lewisburg, are cousins of the late Mrs. Shuss.
