Bersabe, a lifelong resident of San Pedro, passed away in the family home after a lengthy illness. She was predeceased by her husband Alfredo in January 1987.
Bersabe was survived by 3 sons: Henry, Elefio, Belarmino "Mino", all of San Pedro; 2 daughters: Diolinda Brown of Las Vegas, New Mexico and Corrine Martinez of San Pedro; a brother Rudolfo of San Pedro; sisters Josefine Lujan Abeyta of San Pedro and Delfina Lujan of Santa Cruz; 21 grandchildren, great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter; and many other relatives.
Funeral services were 20 Sep 1989 in the Holy Cross Church in Santa Cruz. Burial followed in the Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers: Anthony Abeyta, Elefio Abeyta Jr., Henry Abeyta Jr., Marlo Martinez, Rocky ___, and Joe Montoya.
