Tommy Dale Hilbern, known as "Tag" to his family and friends, passed away August 5, 2009, surrounded by his loved ones. Tag lived his life with pride and dignity. He served in the US Army, fought in the Korean War and worked for Tinker Air Force Base for over 40 years before retiring. He was an honest man who was loyal and dedicated to his family and always ready to help a friend. He was fun loving with an incredible sense of humor. Tag was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Nancy, and his daughter, Teresa. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at St. John's Episcopal Church, with interment to follow on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Greenhill Cemetery in Muskogee. Donations can be made to St. John's Episcopal Church. Services are under the direction of Smith and Kernke Funeral Home, Oklahoma City, OK.
