Funeral services for Mr. Hugh Gordon, 82, were held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 10, 2006, at Nowell Funeral Home in Louisville. Rev. Mike Allday, Rev. Paul Cain, and LouAnne Mitchell officiated. Burial followed in Bethsalem Cemetery.

Mr. Gordon was a retired from cross-country pipeline after forty years as a cattle and tree farmer. He was a World War II veteran and a member of West Union Presbyterian Church and of American Legion. Mr. Gordon died Tuesday, March 7, 2006, at MS State Veterans Home in Kosciusko.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mamie Sellers Gordon of Louisville; two daughters, Judy of Jackson and Linda of Winston Co; one brother, Coyt Gordon of McCool; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were John Fondren II, Eddy McCool, Gordon R. Eaves, Matt D. Eaves, Wayne Veazey, and Jimmy Hudspeth.

Nowell Funeral Home of Louisville was in charge of arrangements.
