ELISHA DAVID TICE
Elisha David Tice died at his home two miles northwest of Rison Friday morning after a long illness.
The deceased is survived by his wife, four sons, Jess, Hugh James, Andrew and Joe Tice; two daughters, Elizabeth and Louise Tice, all of Rison; two brothers Henry and Frank Tice of Marshall, N.C. and one sister Mrs. John Evans of Voss, N.C.
Mr. Tice was born in Anderson county, North CArolina, November 3, 1867. He was married to Miss Alma Lane of Rison, October 25, 1896, and has made his home here since. He was a very active man until more than a year ago when his health failed, having been confined to his bed for many months.
Funeral services were conducted late Friday afternoon by Rev. B.F. Musser, pastor of the Methodist church. Burial was in Greenwood cemetery.
