Son of Henson Walker, Jr. and Martha Ann Bouck

Cause of death: drowned

March 2, 1843 John Walker was born. They were very happy with his new addition to the family. They gave him the name of John in honor of his Gradnfather John Adam Bouck. The child grew and thrived and was the joy of the family. Grandmother Bouck helped to care for him and the mother. As the summer days come, fevers increased. Martha Ann became ill with the fever and August 12, 1843 after hardle two years of marriage she passed away, leaving a sorrowing young husband and a baby only a few months old. The Bouck grandparents took the little family home with them where they could care for the baby and try to comfort the young father. It was not to be his lot to find comfort for long. In less than three years, and just a month after Henson's marriage to Elizabeth Foutz, baby John was drowned- May 10, 1846 leaving the young father grief stricken once again.
