Harley Burleson, Resident of Cotter

Harley Burleson, 54, of Cotter died Saturday at a local hospital. He was a truck driver and a lifetime resident of Baxter County. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at the Mountain Home Church of Christ with Bro. Wesley Hilton of Salem officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of the McClure Service.

Pallbearers were Clive B. Gustafson, Milburn McCracken, Bob Redman, Ray Smith, Virgil Hurst, Frank Baker, Willard Deatherage and Jim Currier.

Mr. Burleson was born at Zinc on August 26, 1912, son of James R. Burleson and Veda Cockran Burleson.

His is survived by his wife, Lynda; four daughters, Mrs. Nina Truan of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Wanda Harris of Mountain Home, Mrs. Lolla Neal of Martinsville, Ind., and Miss Mildred Ucthman of the home; three brothers, Raymond Burleson of Alton, Mo., Eugene Burleson of Cashmere, Wash., and Bob Burleson of St. Louis, Mo.; a step-sister, Mrs. Pauline Watson of St. Louis; and six grandchildren.
