Mrs. Doane's husband was living at the time of her death. She died at St. Luke's Hospital where she had been for 2 months. She died from thrombosis of cerebral artery (basilar) which she'd had for 39 days, along with arteriosclerosis and hypertension. She was buried Mar 29 1957 in Mount Hope Cemetery in Joplin, MO. Info from death certificate.
