when the ship they were aboard, the Lusitania was torpedoed
and sank in 18 minutes. He and his wife's bodies were
recovered and returned back to the United States.
Their funeral was held at Holy Name Cathedral in
Chicago and they were interned at Calvary Cemetery
in Evanston, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago.
