Clarence G. THOMPSON, 81, Akron, died at 7:52 p.m. Sunday in Woodlawn Hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 1900 in Fulton County to Frank and Lydia SAYGER THOMPSON. He was married Nov. 4, 1920 in Warsaw to Marie RICHTER; she survives. He was a retired farmer. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Stuart (Louise) EATON, Rochester; a son, Francis "Whitey" THOMPSON, Akron; four sisters, Mrs. Eldon (Mary) COX, Lawrence, Kan.; Mrs. Howard (Mildred) FLEEGLE, Clearwater, Pa.; Mrs. Byron (Susanna) ABBOTT, Mishawaka, and Mrs. Earl (Mabel) CLICK, Denver; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Two sisters preceded in death. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Sheetz Funeral Home, Akron, with the Rev. Frank CRAMER officiating. Burial will be in the Akron Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
