Mary was born the daughter of Jacob and Florence Taylor on Jan. 30, 1923 in Wells, Minn. She lived most of her life in the Arbo Township area. As hobbies, she enjoyed working with plastic canvas and crocheting. The last several years she was involved in the Baptist Church in Grand Rapids, loved helping her neighbors and raising her family.
Surviving Mary are her children, Reinhard (Mary Lou) Wohlsdorf Jr. and Richard (Inga) Wohlsdorf, both of Cohasset, Minn., Earl (Juleen) Wohlsdorf of Arbo Township, Grand Rapids, Carl (Claudia) Wohlsdorf and Kenneth (Josie) Wohlsdorf, both of Grand Rapids, and Paul (Vickie) Wohlsdorf of Bovey, Minn.; two sisters, Carrie Sjkovist of North Dakota and Millie Jore of Baudette, Minn.; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceding Mary in death were her parents; her first husband, Reinhard Wohlsdorf and her second husband, Floyd Hurlbut; as well as two daughters; Rosemary and Caroline Wohlsdorf.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 2 at the Peterson Funeral Chapel in Coleraine, Minn. Interment was scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 2 at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
