Aline Harris Kinney, daughter of Leonard Lawrence Lindsey & Hattie Velma (Kelly) Lindsey was born August 22, 1912 in Union County, New Albany, Mississippi and departed this life to be with her Saviour, Jesus Christ on September 15, 1999. Aline moved to Frederick, OK on Nov. 4th, 1924 where she attended school. In 1929, she was married to Marvin Carl Harris and to this union nine (9) children were born: Robert C. Harris, Edmond, OK; Betty Collene Crockett and Cherry Lucille Ford of Wichita, KS; Richard Arlen Harris of Kerns, TX; Jimmy Ray Harris of Edmond, OK; Samuel Forrest Harris of Oklahoma City, OK; Michell Clayton Harris of Edmond, OK; Roger Dale Harris of Arlington, TX, and Dixie Alan Harris of Edmond, OK. Aline lived in Edmond a number of years, working in the Day Care Center of First Baptist Church. She also cooked Wednesday night fellowship dinners at First Baptist and cooked several years for the Falls Creek Camp for First Baptist Church. Aline loved being a mother to her nine children, her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Aline was baptized as a little girl in Mississippi and her faith in God never wavered. At the time of her death she was a member of First Baptist Church of Edmond. She is preceded in death by both parents, and husbands Marvin Carl Harris in 1974 and Issac W. Kinney in 1993; two sisters, Vermel Marshall and Lillian Velma Stewart; one brother, Olan Lindsey and an infant brother who died at birth. Aline is from a family ofsixteen children and is survived by four brothers, Bill Lindsey of Brownfield, TX, Lee Hoyt Lindsey of Frederick, OK, Lewis Lindsey of Paradise, CA, Fred Lindsey of Phoenix, AZ; six sisters, Toie Wright and Peggy Rollins of Wichita, KS, Ruby White, Marga ret Jordan and Jackie Worden all of Frederick, OK, and Bobby Jean Bryan of Marble Falls, TX; and 96 grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Aline is also surrounded by a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and a great many friends.
