Mrs. Aera Mae Flora, 70, of 747 Courtland Avenue, who had been ill for 5½ years and serious for the last six months, died at 11:20 p.m. Saturday in her home.
A native and lifetime resident of Wabash, she was born Nov. 30, 1888 to Joseph and Lucy Jane (Grover) Wigner. She was married here, Dec. 1, 1901 to Franklin E. Flora who preceded her in death on March 23, 1951. The decedent was a member of the church of the Brethren.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Chalmer (Lucille) Airgood, Mrs. Mary Tyner, Mrs Eva Young, Mrs. Robert (Bernice) Hall, all of Wabash, and Mrs. John (Doly) Alvey, Huntington; two sons, Walter, Wabash, and John, Huntington; two brothers, Robert and Rosco Wigner, both of Wabash; seven grandchildren and one great grandshild. Two children, two sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Wire Funeral Home with the Rev. W.C. Stinebaugh, Markle officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.
