Mrs. Barsi was born in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Charles and Anna (Jacaruso) DiNapoli. She was employed by Sherwood Medical for many years and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Waterbury.
Mrs. Barsi was an active bowler and loved to spend time with her family.
She leaves her son, Robert Barsi of Woodbury, with whom she made her home; her daughter, Marianne Barsi of Waterbury; her sister, Emily Tortorici of Las Vegas, Nev.; Mashi Sullivan and Olivia Sullivan, whom she regarded as grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Ryc Lynch and Cindy Wargo.
She was predeceased by her brother, Michael DiNapoli, and her sisters, Merlyn DiNapoli, Kate Cetta, Anna D'Alessio and Anita Millis.
Funeral services took place August 3 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery, Waterbury. Arrangements were by Maiorano Funeral Home, Waterbury.
