Retired Montgomery County Farmer Buried Today.
Gaithersburg, Md., Jan. 19. — Rufus H. Davis, 87, retired farmer, died yesterday at his home here.
He was taken ill last week in Florida, where he and Mrs. Davis were accustomed to spend their winters, and returned to his home last Thursday.
Besides his widow, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dean Wilkinson, county public school attendance officer, of Gaithersburg, and Mrs. Harry Spencer, of Baltimore. He also leaves three brothers, Horace Davis, of Poolesville; Dr. Wilson Davis, of Baltimore; and Wallace Davis, of Adamstown, Md.
The funeral will be held at the home Friday morning with burial in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
