Suggested edit: I may be incorrect, but I believe that you may have the wrong parents and siblings attached to Ephraim Abner Fant. On the page of David H Fant the census shows that his son Ephraim was born in Alabama. However, Ephraim Abner Fant page shows that he was born in South Carolina.

I believe Ephraim is instead the son of Abner Fant and Susan Rosamond "Sue Crocker Biggers (Her memorial ID is 40325603) Abner Fant died April 9, 1841 in Choctaw, Mississippi location of burial is unknown at this time. Abner and Susan had 3 children Sarah, Emily and Ephraim. The 1860 Census shows Ephraim living with his mother and her second husband Robert Hosea Biggers and 3 half siblings. (Susan and Robert had 10 children total)
