George William Peart, 66, of Goodenow, a retired trucker, died Thursday at St. James Hospital, Chicago Heights.
Mr. Peart was born Feb. 2, 1894 in Lafayette, Ind. He had lived in Goodenow most of his life.
Survivors include the widow, Viola; sons, George Jr. of Steger, Fred of Chicago Heights and Clarence of Beecher; daughters, Mrs. Auttis Decker, Lafayette, Mrs. Melvin Woodruff, Crete, Mrs. G. B. Marcum, Chicago Heights, Mrs. Jack Day, Beecher, Mrs. Joseph Mobley, South Chicago Heights, and Mrs. Charles Mitchum and Mrs. Richard Tobeck, both of Monee.
He is also survived by sisters, Mrs. Clarence Moorehouse, Mrs. Henry Teiser and Miss Florence Teiser, Lafayette; and brothers, Alonzo and Lawrence Stinson, also of Lafayette.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Hack Funeral Home, Beecher. The Rev. John Melchert will officiate. Burial will be in the Momence cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home beginning at 6 p.m. today and until the services.
