Randall S. Hulet, 47, died Thursday noon at his Dillon ranch home. Death was
caused by an apparent heart attack, according to Beaverhead County Coroner
Walter Brundage.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 in the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day-Saints with Bishop Ben Stoddard officiating. Interment will be in
Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Hulet was born April 18, 1927, Driggs, Idaho, and had lived in Arizona and
Ellis, Idaho, before moving to Dillon in 1966. He married Eva Lorraine Johnson
in 1947 at Mesa, Ariz. The Hulets had just returned to Dillon from a trip to
Hawaii and Arizona.
Mr. Hulet was active in the LDS Church and was instrumental in bringing a branch
of the LDS Geneological Library to Dillon. He was a counselor for the Sunday
School and as high priest, group leader and choir president in the Dillon First
Ward.
He was an Eagle Scout and served as district commissioner for the local Boy
Scout program.
Survivors besides his widow include daughters Mrs. Alice Schell of Denton, Mrs.
Katherine Cox of Honolulu, Mrs. Eva Ann Stout of Polaris, Martha and Lorraine of
Dillon; sons Steve of Holloman AFB, N. M., David and James, both of Dillon; his
mother Mrs. Alice Hulet of Dillon; brothers David of Texas, John, and Glen, both
of Dillon; and eight grandchildren.
