POCAHONTAS Alma Rice Smith, 93, passed away Friday, March 6, 2009, at Five Rivers Medical Center.
She was born June 14, 1915, at Elm Stone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jake Smith; one son, Gerald Ray Smith; four sisters; and two brothers.
She is survived by two sons, four daughters, one sister, 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5-8 tonight.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday with Ron Berry and Butler Smith officiating under the direction of McNabb Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bellah Cemetery.
