Obituary of Mr. A. G. Harrison
Frankie Myrtle Cole was born in Tyendinaga, Ontario, Canada, March 5, 1886, and came to Leaton with her parents in March 1889. She joined the Methodist church when a young lady and has remained in the faith all her life. She was married January 17, 1906, to Arnold Harrison and went with him to Gladstone, where they lived two years, then moved to Minnesota where they resided until about two years ago, when they returned to Leaton MI to make their home.
She was stricken with pneumonia, January 1, and died January 10, 1922, leaving her husband, three children, Helen aged 12, Francis aged 9, and Lucile aged 3, her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Lycurgus Cole, two brothers, Lucius and Edward, one sister, Mrs. Annie Fisher, beside many other relatives and hosts of friends.
Relatives who came from away are Mrs. Lydia Martin and Fred Cole of Chicago IL and Mrs. Robert Neelands of Ann Arbor MI.
The funeral was held at the M. E. church at Lenton January 12, Rev. Bateman officiating. William J. Cooper and Mrs. Edith Watson, old friends of Mrs. Harrison, sang. Interment took place in Riverside cemetery.
