Fred A.J. Barkley, 58, of Camillus died Wednesday at Community-General Hospital. He was born in Theresa. He was a toll collector for 14 years with the New York State Thruway Authority. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors: His wife of 30 years, the former Carol A. Forsythe; three daughters, Meghan Barkley of Camillus and Judith Shean and Carol Anne Barkley, both of Watertown; his mother, Leona Leonardo of Syracuse; two sisters, Patricia Kaljeskie of Solvay and Faith Quilliams of Anniston, Ala.; a brother, Christopher of Carthage; two granddaughters. Services: 11:15 a.m. Saturday at Buranich Funeral Home and noon in Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Warners. Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
